Testing latest beta, composite clipper on, extra composite 1.05x, strictness 15.

Tested with 15219 Hz tone that Bojcha did yesterday:

- Red output bars on / off.
- L+R part jumps in spectrum
This behavior kinda makes sense. We're using composite clipping, and in some cases the signal fits 'exactly' inside the holes in the RDS/stereo pilot. The MPX peak level isn't higher where this happens, but if you zoom in you can see some weird effects (valleys - so in most places where this happens the MPX level is even lower, not higher).

Not sure about the red flashing - but it's rare and doesn't cause any problems, so I'll leave it like this for now.

I have an update to Cobalt that I'm posting after this reply. It does not need volume adjustment for generic, as it is within 0.25 dB of what is currently built-in. I test with TTDR Offline to get generic in the same target range, then check the web version.

I would have been done with this yesterday, but there were some power outages. In fact, right now, I hear thunder.

On another note, I have been going on a semi-sorta "interview". There is not a position at the moment, but they're thinking about it. Part-time, but something is better than nothing, and it is always easier to find a job if you already have a job.

I have a possible problem on this version (I also swapped computers, so I'm not positive this is ST related). When I restart the system, Sound Cards>FM Output>ASIO Override Channel 1 and ASIO Override Channel 2 jump to ASIO Output 5 and ASIO Output 6 every time. I have to manually reset them to ASIO Output 1 and ASIO Output 2 each time in order to keep the FM Output active. The previous computer running an earlier version powered up & worked reliably each time.

Hans, in the preset GAP_Dominator_v0.3 you incorporated in the Simple Clipper Amplification value is wrong 62 instead of 100%. (if you generate a new release is a new version of the preset) ;)
I think the other presets aggregates have the same problem. :|
That's in the Generic version of the preset! Under "Web radio" it's exactly the way you made it...
Ok, sorry! :)

28. Fix Stokkemask clipper. --> Done, but has too much effect on highs and stereo separation. Needs to be calibrated, it's probably too strict now.
I hope you can optimize this soon.

Me too _ I actually have a new potentially better idea based on the multipath clipper.

I also did some tests with the multipath clipper, when i have it on 45% it looks kinda right in MPX tool when i look at the stokkemask.
