The 10 khz filter bug is still there.
Fixing it right now... This problem only occurs when you're using 'extra latency' mode btw.
Edit: Solved, will be uploaded tonight.
but that mode will be removed .. right ?
Yes, probably (if I can get the CPU load of the 4096 mode equally low).

i think If you can solve the Multicore problem all would be ok.

I'll try - but it has to be the final step because I need to know first which parts of the processing need how much CPU power. And still, the latency will probably go up.

Update is available.

Changes:
- 10 kHz problem solved (but I hear that there are other problems with the 'extra latency' setting, so please use 4096).
- clipping-like problem in Loudness reduced.

There is no difference in cpu usage between 4096 and extra latency! Actualy sometimes in 4096 cpu usage is lower and i think sound quality is better! I know that this is not logical because loudness should work better in extra latency mode.

For now this is best quality for now, of course I do not know whether it can be even more better,.. only thing left is cpu optimization.

VERY minor update: CPU load of the Loudness filter is slightly lower (CPU load for FM Loud preset in total is about 1% lower). No change in the sound.

Well, I guess I should remove it then :-)

By the way, the 'extra latency' mode still uses (just like EVERY Stereo Tool version upto now) block shapes that correspond to 'Slope Overlap' 0 - that might explain part of it.

Hi Hans,
do You have idea about kind of phase rotator filter in ST to be used for microphone processing ?

Aphex 230 Phase Rotator

That would be a really nice addon and would help getting the maximum out of the processor.

Based on what I see in this link, this should be extremely easy to add (in fact it's nearly identical to the FM calibration filter that's already there, except that it has a completely different purpose. Or to the Phase part of the Stereo Image filter, except that the phase varies depending on the frequency). A small warning though: Chances are that already processed sound (modern CD's) would in fact sound WORSE if this processing is performed, because they are usually already optimized for this - doing this again undoes the optimization.

Will look into this after I've finished improving the CPU load.
