Not really bad news, just a preference: I really liked the previous UI's capability of providing an at-a-glance overview of everything going on, and if you need to know more, you drill down on the individual component. This UI makes you have to "work harder" if your preference is to see a high-level view first.
For new users I think it was really way too much. And it was getting more and more problematic to make it fit on a (smaller) monitor. But are you talking about the old main window or the subsections? Because currently in the main window you can actually see *more* than before - if you choose the bottom view with meters.
Yes, the main window, but I realized that by clicking on the
nondescript right arrow, it changed the lower portion of the window.
Suggestion: At least put some sort of label on the thing...
Bug: Every now and then the X to close to tray does not respond, and when that happens, eventually the entire interface is non-responsive, with only minimize and maximize working.
