Hans, Just tested the latest beta, and my conclusion is that the low's are not as intense as the previous versions.. i'm now back to a version released on 27-05-09 and in that version everything is sounding great (to my ears) no distortions or whatever.. /Martijn |

Actually this version sounds the best so far to my ear out of all the past beta2s. I could tell a slight distortion in the highs in the last version, but it seems to be gone in this one. The bass may not be as intense, but it is still very nice and warm. Great work. |

I could make the new filter that I added yesterday configurable. I have done tests with slightly (1 dB on average) higher low bass sounds, and I got some distortion (comparable to that of the 27/5 release), but the bass level was also exactly the same. I then decided to drop the bass level a bit - but given the repies here I guess I should make it configurable. But first I'm going to redesign my filters based on what I have learned from the last few versions. I *think* I can increase the bass level a bit without introducing distortion, but that requires a redesign. May take a few days... In the mean time, feedback is still welcome - I may be able to take it into account in the redesign. |

When i think i don't have enoug highs i was enable EQ or tune multiband. Now we can even do that from loudness section. |

Yeah, but it doesn't have a lot of effect. What that slider does is controlling the maximum allowed peak level. Setting it higher means that you get higher peak levels, but there's no difference for most of the highs - and you risk getting annoying artifacts because too loud highs may push down the lows.So changing the multiband/eq is better. |

Hans, i found what cause poblem with output level (both FM level and regular output) when in both standalone and dsp load any preset. i load preset.. level is ~-10dB turn ON lowlatancy and again OFF and level is back on ~-9dB (or restart ST) |
