Quote:
- Better protection against unwanted clipping level raising in delayed bass clipper
- Bass boost caused artifacts, should be fixed now (I haven't checked yet if there are places where the effect itself changed)
- RDS display in GUI improved. Not all characters can be displayed properly but this is as close as I can get without making a completely new character set.

Stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 03-003.exe
Winamp DSP: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 03-003.exe
VST: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 03-003.dll

Nice Hans but can i use this new version with bojcha Eu4ria_II_rc16_Final or is it importent to adjust the presets first with these new functions

If you don't want the change to have (much) effect, you can either set the delay to 0 (to turn it off completely) or - better - set the maximum clipping level at or slightly above the static bass clipping level. Slightly above it probably better. But you can also try it out without changes - chances are that it will sound better immediately because you get more bass kick.

I use the Beyerdynamic DT770 pro 250ohm ;)

Its monster headphone, Radio 538/3FM and other comercial stations use this headphone also

I'm currently using a Sennheiser HD 558, it's about the same price. Tip: Just go to a store where you can listen to a bunch of headphones, that will quickly give you an impression of the (huge!) differences between them. And bring your own music and playback device (I used my laptop, and Stereo Tool as well to see how well I could hear different settings).

For me not a very inteligent answer why "pm" ??? it's a secret !!!! if he dont whant us to use his preset why share it ?, like i said sorry if i'm wrong the best think is a simple update of his great preset.

Sorry again if i think like that...

TODO:
- Find good default values
- Do something with existing presets (for example use max clipping level + 2 dB)
- Display clipper boost in GUI

- Check preset loading 'RESET' behavior.
- Dynamically switch off distorted highs etc. for loud tones.
- Update Bojcha's presets
- Change version number
- Maybe change Composite limiter setting
- Release :)

Downloaded the last beta. See an increase of 2-3% on my Ivy Bridge notebook.
Using VST v6.32 it used to linger around 4 - 6%. Now it's in the bracket of 7 - 9%.
Also had to increase the buffer of ASIO4ALL(using WaveRT drivers).

PS: Have Natural Dynamics enabled. I believe this filter hasn't undergone any change. So the hike is not attributed to ND.

That's quite a steep increase in my opinion.

Sounds better though ...
