I don't know why that is but I think that should be fixed in a way to act like BBP. BBP has Extra Low CPU+Low Latency mode and that is great for watching video that uses a lot of CPU to decode. Just a thought. Press the reset button, adjust and try again. I think we need to find out which triggers it since I don't like fine adjusting presets for hours and days and then it becomes unusable in another version. |

No, assymmetrical audio can cause a DC offset when it's clipped. This setting does not allow that to happen - which has the disadvantage that more audio gets clipped. |

As you can imagine, at the time where you reach latency 512, the artifacts have been increased (MORE than doubled) 4 times. Lowering the Quality again to 50% doubles the artifacts again, and stops them from being spread out nicely, so you'll hear them much clearer. So at low latencies ALWAYS keep the quality slider at or very close to 100%. If you need to lower the CPU load, try using the Loudness strictness slider etc. |

Hans.. Something i don't understand about 1+2 option for bands 1 and 2. 1+2 enabled - If i have band1 at 50Hz and band 2 at 100Hz and play 3 sine tones 50, 75 and 100Hz.. all 3 tones should play at about same level, but they don't. 50 and 100Hz are 'good' but 75Hz is much lower. I guess because both bands are pushing it twice. Can something be fixed there? |

Hans... Can you give me a brief explanation of what your slider percentages are relative to? I'm having a bit of trouble, understanding what a 170% maximum clipping level actually means and how that number relates to the other settings in the processor. If you attach a meaning or number to what the processor puts out after it's done its work, how does that relate to percentages that are so high? Thanks. Jack |

There's a problem with Low Quality / Low Latency output. When i select sample rates higher then 48000 i hear more noise for every increase. When i select Bypass all i don't hear a difference in output. |

Another bug, i have l/r swap issue again. This time on normal output when i change buffer size. I don't see difference in output meters this time but i hear it on the output. Problem seems to be only with asio for now. |

Hey everyone, I'm at the IBC almost everyday so I have little time to respond to posts here. Short reply about the 170%: 100% is 0 dB. So 170% means that I'm clipping at a *higher* level than 0 dB. That is useful because in the end the different bands are added, and if one band goes up while the other one goes down clipping above 100% helps to get more of that band. Hope that's somewhat clear, I'll write a manual at some point... ![]() ![]() |
