Advanced Extreme Highs Protection is not working the way it should yet. I hear 3 issues:
- Highs are reduced. Well that makes sense, but it happens too often. Or at least I think it does.
- I hear distortion in the highs again, if they are reduced a lot. That should not happen - will have to check.
- If the highs are very loud and the low/mids are soft, no protection seems to take place.

I think it's best to turn it off for now. The principe should work but there are some things wrong in the current implementation.

Why do we need Advanced Extreme Highs Protection? What track is giving problems with highs?

This is indeed a displaying issue, has something to do with threading and (not) using locks...
What I've done for a long time is to put a buffer in between for that, so that the longest time a lock is ever held is as long as it takes for the memory to move in or out of it. (aka bloody short)

I know, I actually do something similar but I never got around to add the lock...

WOAH big CPU increase!!
In beta116 i loaded "FM Transmitter (US, Stereo)" and I can't have at max quality. Where is that bass strictness 6 step thing slider to adjust?
I have AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+

With FM Transmitter Extreme US preset:
Advanced Extreme Highs Protection + Hard Limit OFF = No CPU increase from previous beta's.

In other words, like all betas after 89.
