Ah! I _NEVER_ press that button, so I've never seen it! Ok, now I can reproduce it I can (probably....) solve it. Thanks!

On top of that, only the stand alone window can be minimized - so it also never happens with the Winamp or VST version.

Ok, this was pretty bad.

If you press WINDOWS+M, the window gets minimized. But - that shouldn't be possible. Or I should say: If you press the MINIMIZE icon in the window, it's sent to the tray instead.

Now, it turns out that if a window is minimized (as happens when pressing WINDOWS+M, which I never tested), if I check the size of the window I get '0 x 0'. The border however isn't reported as 0 x 0, but as 140 x something - 140 is the amount that the window grows in horizontal direction. On top of this, in my drawing algorithm the 0 x 0 size caused pixel positions to be incorrect, which in turn led to memory errors and potentially crashes.

All is fixed now, if I read a size of 0 x 0 I ignore it and turn the drawing of the interface off. I'm building the new BETA now.

Final TODO before releasing: Set initial Quality and Refresh speed a bit lower than maximum to start with lower CPU load. Will do some quality tests tomorrow to determine appropriate levels. (In v4.22 and before, the setting was "Mid", which corresponds to Quality slider in the center.

Hi Hans,

- No more wider main-window after minimize to taskbar.

- I see you set rds signal lower.
As i said according to "mpxtool" rds signal was sligtly higher, now is ok. But is this correct?
In few days i will finally get one "Pira FM Analyzer", so i can check with this device also.

I've now checked the peak level. It's possible that the signal is now actually a bit too soft - but before, there could be spikes above the maximum output level (causing distortion etc.) - that's now no longer the case. So this is definitely better.

My own measurements (NOT based on MPX Tool) correspond very closely to your results, so I think these values are correct.

Side note:
- Quality will be set by default at 76%
- I noticed (when trying out different quality settings) that - for very low frequencies, which is what Quality is indended for - version 4.22 sounded a lot better. After checking it turns out to be caused by the AGC, which in case of loud lows leaves all the highs through. So I've now added an extra slider to the AGC to configure the maximum level of the highs relative to that of the lows. By default it's now set to 250% (at that setting that "Video Phone" track with insane bass is nearly unaltered). Bass sounds with no highs now sound MUCH better.
- I received a bug report by email about Alternative Frequencies, in v4.22. Turns out that the AF signal didn't completely conform to the specification. Fixed now.

I'm now doing a final 5.00 build, will release it this afternoon.

ahh .. Another strange thing about main window. Standalone Only!

As i use Windows classic scheme for standalone edges are "doubled". There is some black lines too, like window in window.
This is not visible when windows standard scheme is used.
Winamp_dsp window is same as v4.22. that's something with resize feature again ?

Strange, I thought I had fixed that a long time ago. Anyway, it's fixed now. (It's just a Window setting ("Static edge"), not even part of the code).
