Yes, in beta106 HPF ultra low bass is solved.
Also Phase-linear HPF is indeed steeper

Will test more, for DC and this new phase-linear HPF...

edit:
Seems DC is also solved :) And yes indeed this bug affected Phase-Linear HPF too.

So.. I have two pictures here that show difference with 44100Hz and 48000Hz as the input samplerate. Can you notice the "harmonics" in MPXTool when using 44100Hz? They do not appear when using 48000Hz, something with the resampler (is there any or is some Windows framework used to resample?).. Bandpass filter is set to ridiculous settings, it helps to see the problem. Also, input is clipping when using 48000hz, why? I was only playing music from Spotify..

(None of the "harmonics" show on the Stereo Tool spectrum!)

44.1kHz: http://modulator.kapsi.fi/kuvat/44khz.jpg
48kHz: http://modulator.kapsi.fi/kuvat/48khz.jpg

Or am I doing something wrong? :D
Yes you probably doin wrong with the sample rates . I was at this issue about a year ago and Hans told me to check the sample rates (my mistake was in the Virtual cable ) ..... solved !Thanks to Hans
Indeed, the Stereo Tool output is clean (see Stereo Tool window), but Windows uses a very bad resampler if you set the VAC (or MPX Tool?) sample rate incorrectly.
Don`t know .. without VAC this is still there . Use VST plugin with Foobar2000 , but with winamp and DSP still the same !
Will check beta 106 now ....and report

P.S: Foound that when put to 1024 samples latency ... this is GONE! Also bass sounds in different way ........
Think that there is something wrong in this latencies !
CPU slider for quality also affect when i`m at 1024 ...
SOmething is wrong there ... I knew it`s time (for respond) problem :)

It's because the soundcard (in this case, VAC) isn't being opened at the same sample rate on both "ends", so Windows will do (horrible) SRC up to the highest rate that something has the soundcard open at. It doesn't have anything specifically to do with Stereo Tool.

I have VAC with option Cable format ... not cable range which means that if 176400 came then 176400 is switched ... when 96000 came then 96000 switched.
Also when it sounds like this i look into panell for Uflows or Oflows.. No does not go up when do like this.

@Hans : At window It looks like there is Oscillating when i turn to 4096 samples and when turn to 1024 this oscillating is gone and bass goes a little down ! maybe minus oscillating

Think that this 4096 samples are less
Try test with 8192 and next down step to be 4096 next down to be 2048 and the last 1024 ... ?!?!?

@Hans : I still think that with 4096 samples when basss goes below XX frequency .... say for example 60 Hz , then this 4096 samples are little amount(small size) for this wide of band... mean at full frequency band (20 Hz - 15000 Hz ) we need more samples probably more than 4096
When we have band 60 Hz - 12000 Hz ... probably we need less samples . Thats why when I click on 1024 samples the bandwidth is reduced , because the 40 Hz indicator goes to work at 90 Hz indicator.
If You don`t understand , I`ll make a video to show you . No problem

@ Hans
There is nothing can be done to fix this pre-ring sound caused by bass vs HPF vs loudness vs etc ?

It wants more time to calculate the very deep bass .... say 30 20 10 Hz and needs more time ...
I suggest to make it at least 8192 samples to look ahead
But have a question : Is this will increase the CPU ?
Because when i set it to 1024 or 2048 CPU load is equal .
Believe me it`s not from any loudness or HPF ect.

Nope Doggy. There are other ways for that, like 'overlap'

Post subject:  Re: Stereo Tool 6.10

Well..... suggest to test with "overlap" then ...
I know that Hans will solve this because it`s a little problem that seems to be invisible like everyone knows .
Laws of Murphy ... you know. Stupid Murphy. :)
Understand for the overlap method but ammm...... I think Hans must use the secure method ... "Overlap" method may cause other problems ... Don`t know Hans will say that.

As always, Hans always has other methods :)
