i recorded with lower volume because this thunder bass is going way high.. so just avoided clipping. Only HF is ON never phase-linear There is another thing .. web/sts preset i loaded was with 192kHz actually on input. So when i swiched it to 48kHz After reset, there is no this effect! |

ok, more info.. It's about rates. On some rates this happen and on other not. Here si list. - 32kHz = OK - 44.1kHz = OK - 48kHz = OK - 88.ckHz = OK - 96kHzkHz = Not OK - 128kHzkHz = OK - 176.4kHz = OK - 192kHz kHz = Not OK Tested Standalone - Only Never Phase Linear HPF ON. Normal Output. @ VFR750A45 You can check your FM test with beta104 or 105. but only switch rate from 192000 to 176400. |

Wooh! Yes that's REALLY a bad low bass sound (before I only listened to the samples and my headphones didn't play them - I expected dropping highs etc.). But now I see that there's a lot of ~ 25 Hz content added. And I mean really a LOT. This could indeed explain both DC issues and Bojcha's issues. |

Yes, you finally heard it This could indeed explain both DC issues and Bojcha's issues. btw, I am not sure what is that 'choper' sound you talk about and on what exactly you mean ? |

Yeah but so far I'm unable to reproduce it myself. And I really need to to be able to find what causes it. Which HPF frequency are you using? This is what I did: - Input 192 kHz - Hit RESET - HPF on, never phase linear (tried 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 Hz, all seem to be ok) original_for_HPF_test.wav is the UNPROCESSED (so also no HPF) filtered sound, right? Because the frequency steepness near 0 Hz seems pretty strong. Am I missing something? Chopper sound: Try old BETA (before 082), lower latency and quality, then play a low bass tone. You'll then hear a bunch of weird, chopper-like sounds. Increase the latency and quality and these effects will be *close to* gone. |

Yes, settings like that.. input 192 or 96kHz. It happens on that rates only. - Never Phase linear default (20-15000Hz) order6- Input 192 kHz - Hit RESET - HPF on, never phase linear (tried 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 Hz, all seem to be ok) original_for_HPF_test.wav is the UNPROCESSED (so also no HPF) filtered sound, right? Because the frequency steepness near 0 Hz seems pretty strong. Even better to play 'pink noise'. Like that up to 48khz is ok. Higher rates all make this thunder bass. |

I told You that this sound is presented always but not with that highs element in it . Here catch this song and test with it . Play only bass and see. These sounds came from the any of the input or output interfaces , because i`m hear them without any options ON. This with 96Khz is the cherry on the cake. http://www41.zippyshare.com/v/98581360/file.html Play only bass of this song and turn off everything but bass boost and "PLAY ONLY BASS" checkbox. Just trough ST . Sliders are at 50Hz -> 150Hz.... 150Hz->250Hz. Still hrr hrrrr hrrr sound. This sound that told us Bojcha is the same but with Highs in it . You must don`t think it is caused by the bass boost , because I test with bass only cut song and no bass boost option and same thing. |

Ok, pink noise helped a lot - the output looked really insane! Now the next thing is DJ_Doggy's problem, I'm hoping that it has the same cause. |
