LOL! I work at Philips :-) But at a different department, MRI scanners.

In case you wonder why I didn't respond earlier to your headphones questions: I was a bit embarrassed as well...

Don't remind me of that thing. Hans do you do the software on those things?

A good purchase that I made and fairly cheap are my Sennheiser CX 300-II earplugs. I really like them and I can drive them properly from my laptop. Highly recommended.
I also have a Sony MDR-V900 but I can only use that one on a good amplifier.

- Loudness is "louder now' hope Hans will compesate seme level as in v6.10
- Some tweaks are needed in MB
- for loud presets "Do not reduce bass" should be lower.
- for loud presets "Always clip bass below" should be lower.(this helps in current beta)
... etc

Do you think the values "always clip bass" 94% and "do not reduce bass" 71% are too high ?

Good headphones ?
I use Philips SBC HP1000 !
But most of the time I prefer to use my Yamaha RX 385 Receiver/Amp with NS-s34 loudspeakers or an old (!) Dual (a real Dual !) system.

IMO it is necessary to use different (best multiple) monitoring systems (headphones and loudspeakers) to be sure that your (changed) Stereo Tool settings are really better than older versions.
Using only one monitor system all the time has the danger that you possibly only compensate for its special weak points.
