in what stage will be solved "Avoid Distortion" in Final Limiter?
I've just fixed it ("reduced CPU usage" as well) and will post it here later tonight.
Remaining todo's:
- Fix highpass filter (which sounds horrible at the moment) ■
- Maybe (is this needed?) fix Improved loudness distortion protection, Very deep bass distortion protection and Deep bass boost in Low Latency mode. (Will increase the CPU load...). But: The distortion seems to be gone already, with these filters turned off... So I think they're not needed in Low Latency mode. (If you have any examples where it IS needed, please let me know).
- Make the CPU load configurable (more steps than just Low/Mid/High, and enable choosing between 'out of tune' bass and a rumbling bass sound.
■ PARTIALLY DONE
- Make the latency configurable (add an extra low and an in-between value: Extremely Low Latency (9 ms, probably less if Loudness is turned off), Very Low Latency (17 ms), Low Latency (34 ms), Normal Latency (68 ms). And allow lowering the latency further at the cost of increasing the CPU load.
■ PARTIALLY DONE
- Fix the output level indicators (many of them display garbage). ■
- Remove 2nd input channel in Stand Alone version. ■ (not yet uploaded)
Did I miss anything?
*Edit*: I just noticed that I had previously converted the deep bass protection etc. filters to low latency versions that DON'T use more CPU load. I think that (with a bit of effort) I can re-use those for the current version as well...
