I have just automated most of the build behavior (until now I had to manually copy the code to multiple virtual machines to build Linux, Mac and Windows 64 bit versions). So, from now on releasing will be simpler :)
Cool :!: :!: :!: ;)

Am i right that in Calibration , the options "Test SSB lower" and "Test SSB higher" act with the same result as Test Right silence ? Also all three options result the same display behavour/waveform ? (output oscilloscope)
I think something is wrong there.

Hans, in 7.42 b18, is it normal with Power Bass and Power Highs when you click on Difference; Power Bass and Power High Difference Output is combined?
The result is a very weird acting output.

Yes, to fix that I would have to make some changes to the code. Best way to test at this point is by turning either Power Bass or Power Highs off (the one that you don't want to hear).

Hello,

I have now tested the new VST 64-bit version. So far I have not had any crashes, and the new feature is also very good!

But I have found that there is a time offset. In addition I have even created a test file, which is exactly 10 seconds. This I then used with Stereo Tool and the PerfectDeclipper. Finally, I put the original signal on the right channel, and the revised on the left channel.

And I've found the following problems:

1 At the beginning of the revised file, there are strangely Audio, obowhl there was none at all before.

2 There is a time delay. That is, the audio is shifted to the rear. This is very ugly, because that is so, the end is displaced and missing.

For the problems I once an image is done. The Delay is 0:00.063

Thanks.

Something else, how on earth can you test a program, when Windows 7 decided to put back 7.40 all by itself??????
What retarded feature is this and where can i turn it off? ... That Windows decides 7.42 is not good enough, so let's go back to 7.40. Now i have seen it all.

... And i was wondering why everything sounded so different.

@near05:
This happens when you enable the DeLossifier. Fixed in this new build (I decided to run one more build before releasing, to fix this issue and to update a few presets).

@bob0r:
I have no idea how this could happen. Windows doesn't know anything about ST versions and there's no auto upgrade/downgrade in Stereo Tool either. Are you sure the old version was not installed in a different location and you're starting that one now?

Changes:
- Add presets, waiting for Thorium6 update/web version, and need to set correct levels (generic presets, BS412)
- Change version number to 7.42

Old Changes:
- Maybe change band 2 band shape (feedback Bojcha) -> apparently not
- Optimize new MB flat (1 FFT instead of 9) - DONE
- Old Flatness slider must be disabled when 'Flat tops' is enabled; other checkbox right to 'Flat tops' might be removed again. - DONE
- Fix Perfect Declipper keyboard input so I can also release a new declipper version
- Check performance DONE, difference is less than 1%
- Added a lot of new presets.
- Fixed the compressor Knee bug in 015.
- Added the first few new presets, and removed a bunch of others
- Lots of small issues that might cause problems on different systems/plugin hosts etc. resolved: Rounding error in compressors.
- Added 'Flat tops' in Multiband Compressor and Natural Dynamics, with different band contents and improved crossover/flat output behavior.
- Added experimental DeLossifier (MP3 artifacts removal filter). So far it only reduces pre-ringing a bit.
- AM support doesn't work properly: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5512&p=24635#p24635 FIXED
- Linux version crashed - FIXED
- Crash in 64 bit VST plugin in compressor - SHOULD BE FIXED NOW
- Hangup with Marian Windows 7 driver: WORKAROUND AVAILABLE
- Added Marian sound card driver hangup workaround
- Added locking to MM audio I/O code to protect buffers
- Declipper behavior at extremely low latencies (256 samples or less) improved
- AM Assymmetry in combination with FM pre-emphasis enabled again
- Deemphasized audio didn't work properly under all circumstances in 7.41, fixed again.
- Code improvement: Potential rounding error in compressor (which could lead to all kinds of issues) fixed
- Code improvement: Initializing some values that were never initialized before
- Code improvement: Several 'Division by 0' situations (which were masked so they didn't cause problems) are now completely removed

TODO:
- Release
- Hangup with Marian Windows 7 driver: attempt to pinpoint the cause together with Marian.
- Dotted area in ASIO input buffer (GUI only) TO BE FIXED

If I get no complaints about this version I will release it tomorrow.

Hi Hans,

When I have installed the past 2 betas they have wiped out my settings and registration number from the .ini file. I have had to load the preset again and add the license number back in.

That doesn't happen here - which one are you talking about exactly? (DSP, VST, stand alone, Windows, Linux, Mac, 32 or 64 bit?)

Hi Hans,

The Windows Stand Alone version 32 bit.

I will try it again tomorrow and see if it repeats the behaviour.
