So Windows restarts? And does this happen immediately after startinhmg ST? Can you try going back to an older version to make sure that it's not a hardware issue?

And the other questions? Please remember that I'm 'blind' here, all I know is what you tell me - and based on that I need to find a mistake in 4 MB of code where the bug could be something as small as a single character! So I really need to have all the info that I can get!

Stable 7.40 2h uptime and still good, sometimes random fast clicking ST options.

Stable 7.40 2h uptime and still good, sometimes random fast clicking ST options.
I still need more info. For all I know, the latest beta could have been stable for 24 hours. You really need to tell me exactly what happened or I cannot do anything until someone rlsr reports a similar issue.

I still don't know:
How fast it happens
What happens (Windows crash? Or just Stereo Tool?)

edit: o and you said that this does not happe if you don't enable FM output right?

Now I'm using internal realtek ALC885 always same for tests, and XP home, winamp dsp plugin with enabled FM out but it doesn't work sound is mono and bad big artifacts.

You still didn't answer:
- Does Windows reboot?
- Does it happen immediately or after some time, and how long?
- Does this only happen if you use FM output?

Don`t forget that Winamp don`t have any suport anymore. So your winamp may have issues.
Also what is this version XP Home . Be smart and make yourself XP Pro. Get rid of this Home.
Mono output is may be a driver issue . Uninstal and reinstall them. ALC internal EQ is only 44100 Khz ... so disable it when using ST . No any other causes that can make the output mono .

The new version is sending out mono output to the FM output in more cases than older versions - I'll look into that. But I'm far more worried about the crashes.

Btw - Winamp has been bought by Radionomy and will keep being supported.


Edit: Confirmed that SSB mode is completely broken.
