I'm comparing the test files now. Omnia 11 has more lows but also more distortion.
The Orbans have more density and less highs, but also lots of distortion.
Omnia 6 seems to have more stereo widening.
But overall i like the Stereo Tool sound the best before the Omnia 9.

I'm now going to compare the other mix.
I did A/B comparing with MPX tool for the new and old stereo tool version. For me it's very hard to tell the difference between the two. I did hear in one part an improvement for the new version with the S sound.

B.t.w. You're getting closer with the MPX level last time it was 99.8% and pilot 7,98%. Now it's 99.9% and 7.99%. ;)

Bit higher cpu load. (beta27a)
I needed to rize latency on transmitter site PC a bit. + 2-3ms

There is still volume drop caused by highs. All points to Loudness filter.
I don't know why loudness is so sensitive on Highs, and why drops other sounds. Because od this behavior, sometimes i have feelling tha Loudness filter is 1-Band Limiter. If any bands in Loudness filter i guess it need to be more independent. At least in two independent groups.

True,

I think I have an idea for yet another Loudness redesign... Not for version 6.20 anymore, but I was thinking about simplicity - basically the simplest filters work best. And Loudness consists of so many slightly different steps, I cannot call it simple anymore. And due to that it is also very difficult to see where this comes from.

Here is a modded version of Bojcha's B-Town-FM-v4
I have changed some settings to IMO improve consistency:
B-Town-FM-v4 Hotstepper Mod1

(I hope Bojcha won't let me send to prison for this modification/violation of his copyrights in the original B-Town-FM-v4 preset)

Hi Hans!
My congratulations to the processor works well.
But I have a question. What preset has been used for the test?
I was not able to achieve such a result in their presets ...
Regards Igor

Quote:
1. Breakaway - Nice, clean, but it's custom preset (wonder which one) and very well adjusted, but for that preset and Breakaway, overall loudness is not so competitive.

2. Omnia9. - Awesome Clipper and very good Clarity, Details, very nice to listen, if this clipper is not there, again not so sompetitive in overall loudness.
Both presets "Reference Hard"

3. Omnia.11 - Little strange to me - depend on preset - but sometimes bass is so loud that dominates the over rest of sound, even over very loud mid-highs/high. And in some cases bass is low, like in deep punch. I think it can be tweaked much better.
I agree. Frank should send me one for a few months. ;)
