no, this is better then beta79. I tuned to be even better then your recording with my preset that track from PFD. edit: Comparing now with Omnia.9. Somehow that sound is with much less mids/mid-lows.. and more highs. I guess more highs because comoposite clipper and higher LPF. But this mid-lows are so low sometimes. |

Ok, great! Then I'll leave it this way at least for now. (As said earlier, I just want to get a version out now, and it should be better than 6.10. For now I think that should suffice.) I guess the punch for highs is still an issue though?edit: Comparing now with Omnia.9. Somehow that sound is with much less mids/mid-lows.. and more highs. I guess more highs because comoposite clipper and higher LPF. But this mid-lows are so low sometimes. About composite clipping: That will have an even bigger impact than before when I create it because the highs distortion will be less bad with composite clipping, so I also have to filter out less distortion. So yeah, I really need that! (But first I want to finally release version 6.20). |

No I don't think so. It's already as fast as it can be. The only things I could change are:- Allowing (slightly?) more distortion - Not removing distortion from very short highs. Or maybe not removing it at the start of the highs. I guess no-one is using 'old style protections' (same as BETA089) anymore now? If not I'll remove that code again. |

I see in todo list:- Add composite clipper Can't we expect this anymore for 6.20 then? Can you post new list with next beta. |

No, but I'll make it immediately afterwards. Will do so - these last few beta's were "not suitable for broadcasting" versions, actually more like an attempt to completely redesign the clipper, that's why I didn't include the whole thing. |

You mean the rumbling sound? Could very well be... Well if it's that I can fix it.Old problem with Phase-Linear HPF. (So far I've been testing with the clipper as stand-alone filter, so I just fed it the same input and ONLY clipped it. I guess I need to test it together with the rest as well.) |

Quote: You mean the rumbling sound? Could very well be... Well if it's that I can fix it. Yes.It removes first few blocks of punched bass sounds, and replaces it with that rumble sound |
