Ok. I'm unable to reproduce this crash here so far. ![]() If you see a crash, could you send me your .ini file, so I can check if that makes it crash here as well? Thanks! |

Is this fix supposed to be part of beta 13 or does it belong to some other branch yet to come? |

The Thimeo engine isn't included (and probably won't be), it's intended for other products. I do want it to be part of the same code base though. It appears to work well at the moment in the stand alone version of Stereo Tool, but not in the plugin versions - so I need to fix that. This shouldn't be the cause of the crashes that people are reporting though (because it's all excluded from these builds). So I don't understand what's happening. Edit: O, I didn't notice that fix was a link when I read your post on my phone. Yes that fix should be in here... |

I think i have a logical explanation . When you change the compiler , from that time ahead , ST starts to throw exeptions and strange behavour like not one or two persons report even now. May be like other compilers this have some changes that affects the compiled code too. I just think in this way I was having a trouble with another compiler . When i update it , it don`t want to compile the source , because it uses same variable into two places - so give error . But if i revert back to the old version - everything is just perfect compiled and works like a charm ![]() So ....this is why i think this way |

Quote: ok so I found the problem, I use Stereo Tool together with JACK Audio, for whatever reason as soon as I activate ASIO in 7.7x, it just quits out and doesnt open up anymore. Note that this even happens when the JACK server isnt even started up. Oh and I use the 64bit version because the 32bit version cant connect to JACK at all, it just says it failed, in the 64bit version at least it used to work fine.
just to give you an update on that, just for fun I just tested this again today because windows 10 did get a lot of updates since it came out and even though the 64bit version still crashes, the 32bit version now starts up and connects just fine to JACK so this issue might be some more general windows 10 weirdness problem.BTW I already love the reduced CPU usage, great job with that ![]() |

Hm, either a lot of people are using Win10, or this is really a Win10 issue... (Which would be strange, I didn't do anything even remotely related to Windows versions, and until now it worked - how big is the chance that I just broke something now that only affects Win10?) |
