I see some strange behavour from 7.41 and this last beta in KNEE sliders . In 7.41 they "do nothing" when i set them to 32db , but in this last beta it causes lowering the level ? Is that strange only to me or is some bug/was some bug.

I couldn't like this beta. My MB setting sounds completely different compared to 7.41. I use RMS detection and the preset was very consistent till 7.41.
Now there's weird pumping effect and importantly I see more compression happening in this beta. I don't know precisely what but something's wrong here.

Can you send me your preset (or tell me which it is) so I can check?

Hm... It could be that this change is the reason why the new presets sound so much better - if something is wrong with the old presets (that don't use flat tops) the new ones would also seem much better in comparison...

CONFIRMED. Existing presets sound HORRIBLE with these settings because something is broken

Edit: Your'e right. It's Knee. It either didn't work before, or it works incorrectly now. But something is definitely very wrong.

New beta: BETA742-016. Fixed the compressor Knee bug in 015.

Windows 32 bit:
Windows stand alone: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 42-016.exe
Winamp DSP: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 42-016.exe
Windows VST 32: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 42-016.dll
Windows command line: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 42-016.exe

Changes:
- Fixed the compressor Knee bug in 015.
- Added the first few new presets, and removed a bunch of others

Old Changes:
- Lots of small issues that might cause problems on different systems/plugin hosts etc. resolved: Rounding error in compressors, Marian sound card driver issue (was solved in BETA011), ...
- Added 'Flat tops' in Multiband Compressor and Natural Dynamics, with different band contents and improved crossover/flat output behavior.
- Added experimental DeLossifier (MP3 artifacts removal filter). So far it only reduces pre-ringing a bit.
I think there's more - will look through the changes later to see if I missed anything.

List of reported bugs:

- Crash in 64 bit VST plugin in compressor - SHOULD BE FIXED NOW
- Hangup with Marian Windows 7 driver: WORKAROUND AVAILABLE, still busy attempting to pinpoint the cause together with Marian.

TODO:
- Maybe change band 2 band shape (feedback Bojcha) -> apparently not
- Optimize new MB flat (1 FFT instead of 9) - DONE
- Old Flatness slider must be disabled when 'Flat tops' is enabled; other checkbox right to 'Flat tops' might be removed again. - DONE
- Fix Perfect Declipper keyboard input so I can also release a new declipper version
- Check performance DONE, difference is less than 1%
- Add presets ALMOST DONE, waiting for Thorium6 update/web version
- Change version number to 7.42
- Release
