No, I found no way to make the window larger. In the older version (before 510-09), each setting page opens in a NEW window. But now (in wavelab) if you start stereo tool, a vst-pluggin window opens with a maximum size that fit exactly the start window of stereo tool. Claude |

AGC.. After some tests: Bit better, but definitely cannot be done with 2-band agc. The 250Hz cut is bit to high and when some tones are in that 250Hz area agc knows to confuse. Cut need to be smooth because overall AGC calculation, like on picture i post erlier. So, AGC need to be singleband! Actually in other processors you choose. WB AGC Singleband, or dual band AGC. Must be EQ. ![]() |

The Linux version looks very promising, thank you for fullfilling my wish, now i have one more reason to start writing my radio scheduler. ![]() I got a question also. Is the quality slider's value gets saved from the graphical UI to the sts file? If yes, is the command line version loads and uses that value? If not, will you provide a parameterized switch to us please, so we can set it up? That would be very handy. ![]() |

I expect this will make a big difference. ![]() The (steepest part of the) drop runs from 140-240 Hz. Except for that, it looks very much like what you posted earlier. Actually, I think a singleband AGC with just equalizing won't cut it. At least not without getting annoying effects such as the volume going down on loud voices (Celine Dion song). Right now what I do is (everything with reduced bass): 1. I process the full frequency range, and store the output gain 2. Then I process the frequencies above 200 Hz, assuming a slightly lower target output volume. If the resulting gain gets lower than the gain calculated in step 1, I lock it to that gain. 3. Next, I process the full frequency range again. But if the output gain gets lower than that calculated in step 2, I keep it at the gain calculated in step 2 unless it really gets a lot lower. The minimum gain calculated in step 1 protects against volume drops when loud voices are present. The minimum gain calculated in step 2 protects against dropping the bass level below the level of the rest of the sound. |

Everything is loaded from the STS file, unfortunately the quality isn't stored in it. You can add a line:![]() I got a question also. Or copy the .ini file instead - that contains all the values. It you do this and write to the same .sts file again using Stereo Tool, this extra line won't be changed - so it will stay there (but you'll have to make any changes to it manually). I'm planning to add an interface to specify all parameters on the command line, but that will probably not be available in version 5.10 yet. |

There are two differences:- drop starts from ~200Hz (not from 60-80) ... wich is bit high, so still in voice area - drop is shorter, curve here goes to 250Hz and not to almost 800-900Hz Quote: - 'Remove remaining peaks' set at a high value (it currently interferes with the locking of the band) - will try to fix that asap! True! .. RRP is strange now... i must set it to over 300% to not choke sound.Anyway let's see what will happen with new calculation... |

Fixed now, and I've also locked the maximum gain of band 1 to the maximum gain of band 2. So band 1 won't be louder than band 2 anymore.This does mean that - unless there's really a lot of bass - the thing now operates as a singleband AGC.... Update is building now, will upload it tomorrow. I still do need to check if 'Remove remaining peaks' still functions properly. (Right now I'm automatically increasing the level if band 1 gets boosted by band 2) |
