Found another bug.
In FM calibration 38 kHz is NOT working.

EDIT: And more bugs
23 kHz is not at 23 kHz
28 kHz is not at 28 kHz
33 kHz is not at 33 kHz
43 kHz is not at 43 kHz
48 kHz is not at 48 kHz
53 kHz is not at 53 kHz.

SHOW BIG OUTPUT is still displaying smaller then SHOW OUTPUT.
EDIT: Or is it supposed to be this way?
It's not supposed to be that way - will put it on my todo list!

JesseG : you where right
Luke : there are no overshoots becuse stereotool ( and of course breakaway ) have very very good and clean output.
( before the clipper ....of course there should be overshoots becuse of treble or becuse of bass punch slider! , this is normal )

thanks everyone!

Well yes, overshoot is not the correct term. With a soundprocessor it's more like a constant deviation violation ;-)
Ever concidered to measure if you stick to the 75KHz deviation?

I FOUND A SOLUTION TO MY PROBLEM!!

YESTERDAY NIGHT I MADE THE BIG TRICK !

How CAN you be MAX possible BASS, and MAX possible TREBLE without affecting your FM EXCITER performance ?

CUT OFF on the final stage everything under 20 hz low bass ON THE FINAL STAGES !!
------------
how did i solve it ?! after 2 years of FM exciter modulation power overload :)

strict bass clipping and very strict selected also !
CLIP STRICT FROM 0 up to 20 hz !!! ( no more than 20 becuse u will lose loudness)

AFTER PUNCH CLIP IT BELOW 0 %

BOTH DDS EXCITER and analogue exciter AFTER 2 YEARS FINNALY
PERFORM LOUD AND CLEAN !
so, if you ve made a loud preset for your FM station , DO THIS TRICK but ONLY WITH STEREOTOOL. DONT try to do this trick ( cut everything under 20 hz on the final stages ) with any other clipper ( hardware clippers, hardware dc protectors ) becuse YOU WILL CREATE OVERSHOOTS on the mpx signal.
SO , i can ...go to sleep now :)

( BEFORE this trick , my second IF frequency was going from 324,1 to 325.2 ..with max 75 khz of modulation
AFTER this trick , my second IF frequency is stuck and stable at 325 khz which is the correct for precise fm frequency !!!!!!!! with 75 khz of modulation.

IT WORKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and my FM modulation power increased! ( 8 dbr now! more loud!!)
( pira fm analyzer )

Hi

Can you upload your preset ?

Thanks

Why is phase linear HPF AFTER multiband?
And non phase linear HPF BEFORE multiband?
Both should be before AGC as i mentioned earlier. HPF is before AGC in BBP too ! .. there is a good reason (sub-bass) for that.
Also much less artifacts then.

Can we expect a fix for this in this beta?
Can we also expect a fix for the FM calibration frequencies i posted earlier in this beta?

And another bug.
When "Enable FM transmitter calibration" is OFF and you click "Calibrate FM transmitter ..." and then close calibration screen again, then "Enable FM transmitter calibration" is turned ON automatically.

Hi,

eldoradofm: Will check the frequency issue. About moving the highpass filter: The issue here is that the highpass filter causes these annoying artifacts, and moving it to BEFORE Multiband will make them a lot louder! (Reason: The artifacts are at higher frequencies. So in Multiband the bass will be reduced and the noise won't). On top of that, say the bass is dropped by 12 dB. Then AGC and Multiband will increase it back... That's why it's placed as late in the chain as possible. The non-phase linear version is far much steep, so this isn't an issue (and on top of that, due to the nature of the filter, can only be placed at the very start of the processing).

I'll try what happens when I move it, but I don't expect too much from it. I could add a steeper phase linear filter which adds a lot of latency though - that might be interesting...
