Doesn't sound impossible to me. I can't recall if Hans was using RPi when he responded to a one station's emergency and installed uMPX-based STL, since there was only a little box.

Yes, this is possible, but you'll need a Pi-3
You also need a 192Khz soundcard (wolfson) on the raspberry.

It's simply decoding the 320Kb stream, however the uMPX decoder still hase a composite clipper (failsafe) and this is why a good spec pi is needed.

Does this mean the uMPX will not be a stand alone product?

Will the Omnia support the SFN features that were in the uMPX demo at last year's NAB?

Will it support more than two time aligned streams? (greater than two members of SFN network)
