Here is something I've done with Stereo Tools : https://soundcloud.com/john-john-mixtap ... te/s-cjigb It's a mix with playlist and jingles came from MaXXimum radio in France. I'm not 100% satisfied because I still want this amazing round bass from the analog processor... Help will be appricated ![]() |

Yes, there is some distance between Omnia and ST. Which is why some parts of Stereo Tool are now being ported to Omnia devices (e.g. clipper & declipper).
Still defending ST? You really have to receive enough for this...One more thing, why not to port all of ST to Omnia?? Wait... Maybe FF don't want Omnia to sound like a cow... |

The reason why FF is allowing the clipper and declipper from ST to be included within Omnia is because their implementations sound like a cow. ST does not.

So why don't you make a recording showing the difference. I know lots of FM stations that switched from $10.000+ boxes (currently available boxes, not old units) to Stereo Tool and don't want to go back - although some of them still have the hardware box as backup. You think otherwise? Fine. That can mean 2 things: 1. Your taste is different. That's very well possible. 2. Your settings are bad. Also very well possible. So, record something. So we can hear what you mean. Instead of starting to yell at people. That's impolite. And the only effect is that you will piss people off. If it's a taste issue, other people will not agree with you. If you really serviced over 1000 8100's as you wrote elsewhere (that's 1 per working day for 3 years on end, seriously??), you must know that taste is a very important factor in processing. You're saying something that several people here don't agree with. So I would say it's up to you to prove your point. |

I "can" always agree that something is "crap" or not. But I always prefer some proof. Should be easy to hear/see difference, since when something is "crap" and other is "way ahead", even newbie should hear difference. |

So what you mean to say is that you don't understand how ST works. Got it!

I can respect any improvements that continue to happen with Stereo Tool even more when I consider that it's mostly a one man endeavor. The rate and depth of improvements have already accelerated since Hans officially became part of the Telos family. It's a wonderful team with mutual benefits. There's no reason to be divisive. |

Here's the thing, del4you2: Stereo Tool is a great processor. That's a fact. As for the price - it's an excellent processor. In fact, you will not find anything like it on the market, within the price range that an average person like me can afford. And the only processor that can match Stereo Tool and performs equally good or (maybe?) better is an Omnia 9. Now compare the price. Hans did and is still doing an amazing job on this. A man like him deserves a respect. His product, Stereo Tool, also deserves it. So you should remain silent, unless you have a hard evidence for what you're saying (and I honestly doubt you do). Either way, don't you dare disrespect the man! |
