Marian is closed so... probably no answer until the end of the year (unless they are crazy like me and just keep replying to questions even on Christmas day lol)

Yes,

My machine is running on WIN7 + MARIAN TRACE ALPHA (OLD DRIVERS)
No problems what so ever.

Kind regards,

Jeroen.

Phantom: This includes long-term tests? I *know* that it works on Windows 7 (I even ran Stereo Tool Windows 7 64 bit at the IBC booth), the question is if it keeps running for months/years on end without issues.

Yea as i said it should work with win7 32bit just fine. Also good to say that driver for marian and 32bit os is v2.02. I see they removed it for download tho.

edit: nope.. all still here http://www.marian.de/files/trace_alpha/

@Hans As you know i don't use the processor 24/7. But the PC is running on Win7 32 for about 8 months now.

@Bojcha I will check wich driver version i am using. --> UPDATE: Driver version: 2.01

Now were talking about it, only trouble i have is when starting ST...all buffers are hacling and cracking (no stable buffer fill) and restarting soundcards does not help properly.
I recently found out that restarting ST fixes the problem, so my workaround: START ST, WAIT for 30SEC, QUIT ST and RESTART: Problem Solved !
All Buffers have a stable fill after restart.

I have to say i use near real time (13ms) buffer fill, Qually 1024, ASIO buffer 256

Here's the reply that I got from Marian:
Quote:
We heard about stability issues (glitches) from other users, when using WinMM (MME). We solved this with driver version 2.62 (see our download page).

No stability issues known for ASIO.
Not the type of stability issues that you meant probably - but apparently this is all they have heard. So, it should be stable, also on 64 bit Win7. Unless the issues are caused by something in Stereo Tool (which is unlikely, but it could be that I'm doing something different when talking to the sound card driver which causes something weird to happen).
