I was sick yesterday and have little time in the beginning of next week so it will probably take a few days before I have something ready for testing.

About that video... At the last NAB I was talking to Jeff Keith (Wheatstone), and he pointed me to the fact that the 2 recordings are made on different days (there's a week in between) - he checked the weather reports for that area for both days and they were completely different (one day it was dry, the other it had rained).

When the new Stokkemask filter is finished, if someone could make a similar video showing how well it works to start a new craze that would be really great :)

That video was a scam.Any idiot engineer could have done an A/B comparison at the same time.Just more omnia trickery trying to sell a dam processor...

Stokkemask is doing 3 good things.
- RF is Exactly where/how it should be, always
- Less Multipath
- Lower de-modulated level from ST composite from ~160 to ~130%.
I found 150-160% level is not so good at some tuners. 130-135% is kinda optimal. So "Clip De-modulated Peeks" no need to be used, also becasue it uses more CPU.

Now down to a 13% increase in CPU load with a small reduction in the precision, or still 25% without that small reduction. Will try to get a bit lower...

Since I didn't know such (old) topic existed, I've set up a new one in the NEWS section. There are some samples from SSB MPX tests being conducted in Poland. Here's the link: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=5706.

I can tell switchig A/B didn't prove SSB to be any better than DSB in the comparison that I made (SSB reception was worse though). If you want more from SSB tests in my area please let me know, I'll keep it updated. Don't know exactly what processors they used. Bojcha kindly suggested this might have been O.11.

Regards,
Slawomir
