Intel Pentium E5200 @ 2.50GHz 1302 910 34.26
Intel Core2 Quad Q9300 @ 2.50GHz 3189 404 24.53

The second is better, tomorrow I call that shop, maybe they have a bit faster one.
Yes, Stokkemask is important. Station who pumped up their power will hear not much, but when your Stokkemask isn't right, then they can get a warning and fine after if it's still not right.

well.. since you are searching whole configuration, you can always order something like that.. and get E8x00 CPU for example.. ;)
I replaced E5200 and E5700 with E8500 and clocked both to 3.60GHz (easy) and all is nice now. Ofc, XP pro 32bit.

@Bojcha - Where did you manage to find those 'older' processors? Did you get them through the used market?

I hope your OS install didn't give trouble after the change or did you do a fresh install?

I can get an system with E8300 2,83 gHz. It's Core2Duo. The last one, so maybe already sold

The second IS better but not that much, you need to divide the number by the number of cores (assuming that there are at least 2):

E5200: 1302 / 2 = 651 -> Running at 50% quality
Q9300: 3189 / 4 = 797
Q9450: 3792 / 4 = 948 -> Running at 80% quality, 70% with Stokkemask enabled.

So you need to have one that reaches at least about 1200 I think.
E8500: 2285 / 2 = 1143, but you overclocked it to 3.60 GHz (originally 3.16) so we need to multiply that by 3.60/3.16 -> 1302. Yea, that should work.

Note: Lowering the quality might not be that much of a problem, at the highest Latency setting (4096) you can easily lower it to about 50% without too much effect on the audio.

E8300: 1994 / 2 cores = 997. Close to my Q9450 which can do at most 80% quality, 70% with Stokkemask.

80% isn't 100% yet, so it's better to search for another system also for future development it's important too :)

Found it or ricardo.ch. Used CPU. Price was 90CHF both.
No i did't need to reinstall windows. I however needed bios update since this cpu is newer stepping (E0).
