Would be nice if you will look into that, too. I'm very interested to use BS412 and SSB together for some field tests within the next days...
SSB should not do anything special, however I see that with composite clipping on there's an error: RDS and pilot are taken into account in the protection calculations (ie. the protector expects the audio level to be dropped by about 13%), but because composite clipping is used they should be ignored! Will fix that!
