I actually have preset for new clipper. And it's only for new clipper since new clipper has a small 'bug' with lower bands (beta003). So, let me know if have enough cpu power and you want to test it.

That would be nice! ( i have a Q6600 cpu so maybe its enough )

Is the new clipper totally different?
Because,

When i set ST to normal out, and play some hardstyle music that is already processed, the sound is a bit cleaner/less distorted than when i set ST to FM out!
All settings are te same ( even advanced clipper drive is a bit lower with use of FM out)
And also played with FM composite over drive, but with normal out the sound is " nicer to listen to/less distorted/loud but more relaxed to listen to.
Like i said, with folk music i don't have this problem,
Only with already (heavely) processed hardstyle....
Can this be related to the use of the composite clipper, or is there something else that i must adjust?

Found the "problem"

Composite limiter set to 100% , clipper drive back to 2.8 dB..distortion is gone!

O! The composite limiter should be ignored when the composite clipper is used, I guess it's not!

It is ignored, and he has other problem. It just cannot distort because old composite or bit higher advanced clipper.
I suspect in other things.. like too much level in STL or over 75kHz On Air.. etc..

What is your ST soundcard output level set to? -3dB?

Maybe you can check the card output level vs. the sensitivity of the transmitter for the required deviation?

My transmitter is at home, i don't use a STL.
Also my transmitter is original factory built, and has a menu with devation meter.
Devation is never higher than 75Khz on my transmitter.
Also tried lower input/output levels already.
I think the music that i have is mainly the problem
Some tracks are already heavely ( over ) processed. ( hardstyle tracks, with headphones you can already hear some distortion when you listen closely )
But i must say that with the preset " starting point " the distortion seems to be less... ( compared to the '80 preset i normally use)
With dutch folk music, that is not so processed, the audio is nice, loud and distortion free, and i do not have this problem....
I really don't know what it could be else.....tried/checked alot
of things....
