Checking that 80style - Stereo Boost is doing nothing - it would be better to join last 2 MB bands - check "processing testfiles" from PFD.. point on comercial 2 vs 3. |

Thanks for the comment..i found out that stereoboost has a negative influence (not always) i already discussed a 222A style of stereo enhancement with Hans (@ transient punch like SPARTACUS plugin)- Stereo Boost is doing nothing - it would be better to join last 2 MB bands - .. I tried to temper the Highs with the deesser, and it seems to work. Will try to couple the last 2 bands ![]() Dit you manage to get the consistency you were searching for ? If so, im interested in your approach. The preset you send me, showed a completely different approach...so it seems "different ways to Roma" as we say in Holland.. TIP: ![]() ![]() |

Yea, i am still searching it.. and i have some progress.. but Hans makes changes almost every day.. and all that has big impact. Yesterday i asked him to add one another (i hope) nice feature for bands.. very simple and elegant solution for over-attenuating bands. So, waiting for that. |

![]() ![]() There will be a time when technically he runs out of recources, how do you think of some extra AGC's ? so the multiband only has to do little work ? Been thinking about that for a while since the AGC sounds quite transparent probably a good solution to get more consistency in sound ? |

No, addon for MB is that you can limit maximum Reduction (G/R). ![]() So, you tune all as much as possible .. then limit every band at point where it will not attenuate anymore. |

The spartcacus is nice vst stereo enchancer. But dont have a wide limiter 222A or the Stereomaxxx is also great one. Mebey Hans can make same stereo enchancer like Spartacus, with wide limiter Ja ja we ouden Hans wel aan het werk haha |

I am trying your stereo enhancement setup as we speak, so far it doesn't do mutch for the content currently playing.http://i.imgur.com/VY5qvbw.png Let me know is it fixing "Stereo Boost" bad effect. Will leave it for a few days and let you know. Thanks for that Bojcha ![]() I still feel a 222A type of enhancement suits best for me. (boost L-R content with wide limiter all done at transient punch) Also made my all time favourite preset (evaluation of 80S preset) ![]() ![]() This one is best till now (for my content).

@PhantomFM - Just tested a short 0Hz - 100Hz sine-wave sweep through one of your presets, hearing and seeing some funky stuff at the real low end. I haven't taken the time to look too much into it but am wondering if this is possibly from the non phase linear high pass filter used or maybe something else? |
