This preset is actually very simple:
- Load "Bojcha - B-Town 4 (Europe, Stereo)"
- Increase the 9th multiband Equalizer slider from 1.35 to 1.98 - to achieve the same brightness as the 8500.
- Increase Loudness from 3.15 to 3.24 to achieve the same loudness (actually it was louder, we started the tests with the RDS encoder enabled in Stereo Tool...).

I know that Bojcha is working on a much better new preset (sounds much more open) but just these settings should give you a sound that easily beats "Gregg's Open Preset" (if I recall the name correctly) and several others that we tested on the 8500.
thanks hans,

i tried it this morning, before i went to school, and the song: dolly parton - think about love, i put on then sounded very nice.

i will test this afternoon, with my old setup, and use this preset for stereotool, and make a record form it, and post it so you can give a rating about it. ;)

Not good.. to much mid holes and punch holes and volume riding ..also you use 2 Multbands one from BA Live and one in ST which is never good idea.

Also, i would say that this is not pre-emphasized signal (FM). What i expected is De-emphadized L/R recording.
Or, you are not planing actually use FM at all ?
