ok.. step-by-step: :)


* Set SAM broadcaster to use your standard Soundcard (realtek) and turn OFF all processing in SAM!
- Attach SAM, mic, phone-hybrid .. etc.. to your Tascam mixer
- Now from Tascam Master Out cable goes to your same soundcard "input" (blue). Make sure that input on Realtek mixer is muted! http://i.imgur.com/t6wnB.png
- Start Stereo Tool and set input and output like on previous picture
- Start EdCast and also set like on picture
- Done

Now your Master Output from Tascam is processed with Stereo Tool and directly via VAC goes to stream.

Okay...we're getting there! I'm good up until this point:

How do I set the inputs and outputs in Stereo Tool? I clicked everything on Stereo Tool, but can't find that.
I see in your previous pic that there's a setting window for "Sound Cards Configuration" but I just can't seem to find that. How do you access that window and those settings?

EDIT: Got edcast setup...it has to be "Run as Administrator"

Agh! My whole system's in tatters and I think Bojcha went to bed! Does anyone have any idea how I can access Sound Cards Configuration? Anyone? Thanks!

You might try 'standalone" version of stereoTool :)

I JUST this minute figured that out! I've been using the Winamp plug-in and going NUTS trying to find out how to configure the sound card. I saw a message in another thread mentioning the standalone! I just DL'ed it and now I'm going to get busy.

Strictly Stereo Tool. I'm not a fan of SAM's processing.

I got my 128k stream working. How do I do this for my 64k stream?
And...metadata of course has stopped. Is there a way to get it working? Is there a way to just use Stereo Tool as an inline processor or am I looking at a one-or-the-other situation here?

You can have both streams in EdCast.
For meta data..not sure.. you must check some SAM output file .. where from EdCast will read names.
