Hi Hans,

Don't know if this is done on purpose, but since both Stereo Tool and the Declipper VST's have the same ID only one of them can be loaded in some DAW's (Plogue Bidule for example), for if you have them both in your VST folder you get an error message on start-up of said program. So this means that you can never have both VST's installed at the same time, which seems a bit odd, imho.

I got a similar Problem. I can load the plugins both but e. g. if i open the declipper with some settings and the open stereotool the last settings got lost in both plugins.

That must be a bug. I guess I made a mistake in the code that returns the unique code. Will check it asap!

Multicore optimization is really very good, now I can run 6.21 in my notebook st without decreasing functionality. Nice work Hans! ;)

In the AGC, there is a control called "Startup Input Level", which has no associated values and understand that it has no effect to the slide. This control is active, and do they work?

thanks

As name said "Startup Input level" - meaning, what level of AGC Attenuation will be at StereoTool startup.
There IS small bug in DSP (if you do not play music) on main ST window AGC is not visible "down" (attenuated), but on AGC window is ok and filter works normaly.

I think i found a Problem in a Module:

Archive.zip

Here can you Download the Archive with 3 mp3s, the Original one, the one processed with 620 and 621. Don't be surprised. The sound starts at 38 secounds. The silence before can also be music here the same error occurs. if you want to try it youself i attached also the STS File which i used for processing.

The error occurs always on the part of 42 secounds. The sound drops and loses the dynamic. Very Important, if you want to try it yourself: You have to process also the silence, because this error only occurs at this point of the file!!!

If you only process the last part of the file the error doesnt occur, the drop is left.

Hans do you have an idea what this can be?

EDIT: This Problem also occurs with other Songs. If you process this Song you got the same problem at the same position:

Hi Near,
I just loaded your preset in Standalone and also checked DSP version.. And i don't have that drop. (!)

Do you maybe have some other plugin loaded or maybe EQ from player is ON .. ?
Also check/set "Force Level Below" (AGC section) to max.

Here's your 2nd track processed with one of my latest presets:

I understand what is the use of control, thanks Bojcha.

What I fail to see at least the DSP is the value of control.

oh yes,
It's not easy to enter some number to this "function" becaue it depends on other settings so Hans left this without value. Anyway it's easy to set it .. when you done with AGC settings, set it and reload ST few times to check where it comes to fit your needs.
hmm.. I just get an idea that maybe it's better add some 'reset' button for this, so you can always see where it'll come on startup.

Is there any reason to use the Perfect Declipper plugin (I'm using SAM Broadcaster) if I'm already using the Stereo Tool plugin?
Or does it do more?
Thanks!
