I think I might have fixed this problem..
it turns out to be a program that is called continual silence ( it was a tool for my speakers)
that had been running at start-up now I have stopped this program from starting now it seems that asio does Not lock up .....so I am now a happy man.
not my pc
not asio
and not stereo tool
not using virtual audio cable at the min since im using the breakaway cable instead.
seems I can get 1.5ms @ 1024 samples. asio set at 64 samples.. there is no delay ( and no clicking ) in sound from what I can tell.
I tell you I am so happy with this set-up.
