Hi Hans,

Would it be possible to post the settings which were used on the Metallica track on the demo page.
You did an excellent job in taming the distortion.
I presume these would also be usable in the Stereo Tool 6.20 beta.

Hello Michael,

Actually that was done using the version from 2-3 months ago, you should be able to get much better results using the latest version in Stereo Tool 6.20 BETA.

Just change the clipping detection from 'Both' to 'Either', that should do it.

Yikes, apparently pure squarewaves used in demoscene music are smashed totally by this .... :D

If you just buy any Stereo Tool license, the declipper will be included.

Yeah, was playing chiptunes the other day, and noticed this. Much worse problems than Gabber.

Hi Hans,

The Perfect Declipper website is now showing as updated so all is well.
Can you tell me are you just using the default declipper settings on the Metallica track or other Stereo Tool settings as well?
It sounds really quite impressive.
