Was bored so went back to this preset and added a HF Enhancer using 1 channels of natural dynamics.
Gives it that nice sparkle.. a bit like what Orban call Brilliance Enjoy! This version sounds awful the treble sounds almost maxed and the mids and high are to low what speakers/headphones do you have? I have Sony Professional headphones and Adam T7V speakers and sounds relatively flat... The AGC isnt exactly the way I like it yet. |

The updated version of this preset is a huge hit in our household! Just like commercial radio stations, it is really pleasant to be able to clearly hear every track, even at low volumes. Also the lack of “boomy” fat bass extension a lot of other presets use is a very big positive in my opinion. I agree with Dale however, the AGC could be a little more tight. Sometimes you still have to nudge that volume knob because the music is currently allowed too much room to alternate between volume levels. In terms of general sound however: I think it is a HUGE update to the older versions of this preset, which honestly sounded nice but a little unremarkable. It must indeed be that spark that is now infused into it which makes the new version very special. Edit: After listening to the radio in the car yesterday, comparing it to this preset the sound comes very close. I would however recommend to increase that “brilliance” even more. On commercial radio stations the highs seems even more extended, providing comfortable listening even at low volumes. |

G'day all
Really enjoy this version so far!
Made some changes to the AGC and Dynamics I'm still using the philosophy that less is more! Enjoy and happy processing! |

I think this sounds really fabulous. I reduced the drive fractionally to give it a little headroom and it gives a wonderfully crisp open sound. Well done.Gives it that nice sparkle.. a bit like what Orban call Brilliance Enjoy! Not surprised the Rap based stations have a problem with this, a lot of them like to overdrive the bass to the extreme. Not so fond of the adaptive version, it gives a slightly more processed sound. A good processor should sound as if its not there. |

G'day Colonel. Thanks for your feedback. I do agree... "good processing" should be somewhat transparent. I am still working on this one... still chasing a certain sound ![]() |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zssIkN2lmkA bit a comparison video of this attached preset Preset is an update on the original with some errors fixed and tweaks applied Yeah its not apples to apples comparison but it just shows you dont need an orban or a omnia to get good sound on your station @colenel I have to agree.. the adaptive isn't as good as the legacy AGC in my opinion.

congratulations @Dale.Sharp, a really good preset. I ask you 3 things to better test it: 1) from the word "classic" that you added to the preset name, does it mean that it is optimised for 70s, 80s and 90s music? 2) the +2dB value of the Pre-Amplifier you set is recommended for which input level? (0dB or -23LUFS or -16LUFS) 3) using your preset for Processing what preset do you use for Repair instead? Thank you |

congratulations @Dale.Sharp, a really good preset.
Dale: This is the best preset you've made so far in my opinion. Maybe the sound modulation is a bit stronger, but it's great even for Balkan folk music. I suggest you listen to how it sounds on your preset. Everything you made before this preset sounded like Balkan music, pumped up and sharp. Now this really sounds great. With slightly stronger modulation, but it's great. I suggest you listen to what Balkan music sounds like, and the download link is:I ask you 3 things to better test it: 1) from the word "classic" that you added to the preset name, does it mean that it is optimised for 70s, 80s and 90s music? 2) the +2dB value of the Pre-Amplifier you set is recommended for which input level?
