Stereo Tool

( sorry about any spelling errors, my spelling is not my strong point )

I don't use RDS.. I only used it to see if I could get it to work, so you can say it was an experiment, but it worked ok, tuck a lot of messing around with the volume and the pilot tone volume and the RDS volume but I got it to work..

i did hear on an other forum that those transmitters cant go above 15KHZ, don't know if this is true or not...since I cant hear above 15KHZ lol.


fist you see the station name..... then about 13seconds later you see the station information.. . BUT you can change the station information on the fly ( i was telling hans about that the other night in call lol )

the station name always updates first. then info second.

hand says this might not work for some receivers so I don't know I might have just gotten lucky with mine.

pity i only have one radio with rds to try this on . .

by the way if you modify that transmitter and put a wire on there ( on the output chip ) you can boost the rage by a long way . IN direct site with no obstructions.
as we did try this in the car to see how far we could get before we lost the signal ( we got about 3/4 of a mile lol then lost it due to the houses been in the way )( the signal was in out in out in out you as you can imagine)

and on the way back we got the signal again lol.

but yea thats all i have to say about this one....that transmitter of mine sounds good on my little bathroom radio lol ( yea thats all i use it for is when i get a bath i can just tune in to it and listen to my music in there lol. its easer than messing around with wires )

you all ready know this . last you must get the volume right with the transmitter it will overdrive and sound crap easly ( another reason I'm using stereo tool )
