Thank you for your quick reply, Hans! I will try it at home with SAM, because I am now only able to test it in Winamp... I will get back with an update!

Small warning if you're testing with both v4.22 and v5.00: I noticed that if you write an STS file in version 5.00, the "Pre Limiter 'DIFF'" checkbox gets enabled in version 4.22! This is a bug.

But it means that if you just switch from 5.00 to 4.22, the data that is stored is also wrong; you'll need to manually remove the 'DIFF' setting (or load an STS file manually).

Thank you for letting me know this ;)

I managed to fix the output volume problem. It was caused by one of the silders in SAM, I reinstalled that and now everything is fine. I have also compared the CPU load on both versions and it looks very similar.

The red line is the load of version 5.00, the green is the load of version 4.22 for the CPU. For the memory usage yellow is version 4.22 and purple is version 5.00. As the CPU load is bit lower on version 5.00 I decided to continue using this one on my server. The current high value is due to the others' usage. Normally it should be around 34-40% when encoding 6 channels at the same time.

So here is my new MP3 file for the same 4 songs, made with the latest STS file of mine. It looks like in Audition like this:

I would appreciate if you gave some advises how to improve the sound quality or what to change in order to make the sound better. Now, Stereo Tool is turned on my stream with the current STS file loaded.

I am looking forward to your posts!
