"remove remain peeks above" - need some fix, because fast upspeed.

Reacts strange (fast left-right down) even at 150%, with up speed 1.876 and up 10.
Maybe "mono" for "remove remain peeks above"?
Hm... Remove remaining peaks assumes a amplification level of 100! That should be 1 - or better, the 'slow' moving volume.

Remove remaining peaks should work as before now - although for the tracks I tested I see only small differences. "Mono" is probably not a good idea - you could lower the channel separation though.

Note: Other AGC's (de-esser etc.) are ok now.

Checked and confirmed. Mono might indeed fix this...

Edit: Yes it does. Completely mono isn't needed, but the channel separation must be reduced such that one isn't more than about 6 dB louder than the other. Will post an updated version tomorrow.

Hm? What do you mean? I didn't change anything about punch? Or do you mean that the punch is lost in the AGC?

(For mono 'remove remaining peaks' response -> wait for next version)

I mean punch from v6.10. There was question "is this new punch good" i forgot to do deep check, i was in 512 mode. Now seems to me like it's not working.

Remove remaining peaks: Switch added to switch between 'stereo' processing (as before) or 'near-mono' (max. difference in 'remove remaining peaks' between channels is 2 dB, maybe I should make that value configurable...).

Winamp DSP plugin: http://www.stereotool.com/download/dsp_ ... 20-008.exe
Stand alone version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 20-008.exe
VST version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 20-008.dll
VST version (No SSE2): http://www.stereotool.com/download/vst_ ... 20-008.dll
Command line version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... 20-008.exe
Linux command line version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... ETA620-008 NOT AVAILABLE
Linux GUI version: http://www.stereotool.com/download/ster ... ETA620-008 NOT AVAILABLE

TODO:
- Add buffer for SCA output 1 day
- Finish AGC improvement ? - make mono value configurable (replace checkbox by slider) 1 hour --> NO, not needed - anything else needed?
- Fix Punch making it dynamic will cost 1 day
- Check what to do with new filters (such as bass AGC) - keep them, remove them, change them?
- Loudness: Annoying cracking sound in bass. Slightly present in 5.00, worse in 6.00, maybe even worse in 6.10. Only when bass is too loud. Much worse than in Final Limiter (at same input level!) - so this clearly indicates a bug. Most likely cause: The filter that was added to remove bass artifacts.......
- Change version number 1 hour
- Release 1 hour

Bojcha: About Punch: Doesn't it help if you increase the Punch slider? The difference with before is that I now don't increase the level of soft sounds (which MIGHT mean that some details in the sound get lost...). I could make it act more like in version 6.00, but then I need to dynamically slide between 6.00 Punch when no or little bass is present upto 6.10 Punch when a loud low bass is present, this is needed to reduce bass artifacts caused by Punch.

Punch filter: I think it should work opposite. (old version punch)
When are softer sounds and less loudness is used, to push it more, and with Higher level sounds and more loudness to push it less. [?]
