Hello, I am testing the micrompx decoder v4.2.6 where the scenario would be a 100 megas up and 100 megas down fiber in the "studio" and at the other point simulating the transmitter location, it would be another 100 megas fiber also for down and upload. (It is important to mention that both locations receive fiber optics, not PTP or 4G, nor Starlink, which I would like to test when I can.

In this case, both with and without Wireguard, I am experiencing packet errors and silence.

The configuration on the "study" side is version 4: bit rate 384kbp keyframe of 1s (even with 5s I also have problems) - span error 128 and overhead 17. I was previously using 64 and 8 and it did not help.

The configuration on the "transmitter" side is version 4.2.6, delay of 4s.
I would also like to inform you that the ports on this side are open.

I left it connected for a late afternoon until the morning. On the panel on the transmitter side, I find these packet errors and silence.

I also inform you that I have another test with streaming acc 320kps that works without failures and cuts or silence in the same places, only when I use the micrompx decoder that these problems occur. What can I do to have stability? Could it be my fiber link? Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I appreciate the help.

Hi APS1986

A couple of quick questions. What are you using to encode? Is it Stereo Tool or MPX Encoder? What OS are you both running on and what is the MPX stream version? Are you running the BETA or PROD version?

Cheers

Ross

Have a look at your WireGuard Logs if the connection went down. Do you have a keep-alive-Timer in WireGuards? As the packet flow is UDP in µMPX maybe the WireGuard thinks that there is no traffic and shuts down - or perhaps you have another firewall rule that kills UDP connections after a certain time.

Hello, I use Windows 8.1 Pro on both because of the possibility of disabling Defender and updates, remembering that this is a test environment, decoder without being the beta trial and the stereo tool as well.

I'll take a look at the interesting thing that streaming to the same acc point of up to 320kbs with a 5 second delay works very stable for days.
