Hi all,

Does the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 work as an audio card? If so, how would one configure it (wiring and set-up) to work with ST, using a desktop PC running Win10?

Hoping someone can help.

Cheers,
Baldrick

I have a Arturia Minifuse1 which is just like the focusrite and its act just like a sound card.

Works with everything just like a sound card... even in gaming

Awesome. Got it working here too. Sounds great using a ogg@500kbps STL network stream, VLC to libvlc in ST. Interestingly, I found the ogg stream had a more clearer stream than using flac. Go figure.

Thanks for your reply!

Does it play via VLC reliably? Every time i tried using the external stream input after some hours of playing it stutters and it need completely restarting stereo tool to work again.. are you using windows?

Sorry, I though I'd answered this, though appears not. Weird.

Anywho, seems to work fine here.

We use VLC to stream to the TX PC via ST using the libVLC input. There is a virtual cable from the main PC sound card that interfaces with VLC allowing it to stream content to the TX PC.

I hope that makes sense.

Cheers,
Baldrick
