"Then Rize to (static)" - I mean really strict! Clip with 0ms attack/release
Is it good except for that?
Any comment on the values?
Bit better .. but still no chance to solve some tracks without "Clip lowest bass at" = ~50
Sometimes it's much better to use non-phase bandpas... maybe there is solution.. not only to push lows down, but to do something to bass curve.. anyway..
I know that "Clip lowest bass at" = ~50 is too low, but maybe not so true, because of "punch filter"! it's still off (?) or not doing nothing.
Questions are..
- where in chain is now "punch filter"?
- is it operate only on bass? What freq?
* It should be between "Clip lowest bass at" and "Then rize to"
* It should operate from 0-350/450Hz
Then it's more important to have "Then rize to" clipp strict (0ms attack/release) to block thus sudden high punch peeks to go over ~90-95%. I'm not sure, Release may be more then 0ms to avoid harmonics, from clipping.
edit:
I just done simple test...
I put thru ST 60Hz sine tone, "Clip lowest bass at" is at 20% !!
In same time 700Hz sine tone lower 60Hz just a bit maybe about 1dB.
All same in BBP .. and result difference is more then double - more then 2dB 60Hz lowered...
it's all about levels.
