- Near05 VST crash -> Intel library could be called with a NULL pointer argument when initializing with Phase Delay enabled - hopefully that was it. Waiting for feedback
Well, that seems to have been the original problem. It seems to have disappeared now. I'll keep an eye on it and let you know if it happens again. It would be very good if you could leave the log included until the official release, so I can tell you then much easier new bugs.

Another thing about sound that still strikes me now. Next case. If you have a piece of music that is very loud at the beginning and hasn't used the plugin yet, i.e. reopened it, then the first few seconds are completely overloaded, because apparently the AGC, no matter at what speed you adjust it, still has to "level up" at the beginning, so that everything is on a level. But that's really only at the beginning. This was not the case with the old AGC. Apparently the whole system was adapted much faster. It would be nice if you could take a look at it and make a few optimizations here.

Hi Hans,
In multiband-levels there is a setting called "Relative stop threshold". Default is 12.0dB (131072) but after I select it, it jumps directly to -74.7dB (6) and from then on it it is only possible to adjust it between -99dB and -74.7dB
I use the vst 64 bit version 8.55.049 Beta with Wavelab 9
I double check it with your latest version .052 and it's the same.

Great! I'll keep the log there forever, I just overlooked some places because I didn't realize that it could even crash there.

About the AGC: Please enable "Sudden jump protection". That was made specificially for this. Yes, the new (not-Legacy mode) AGC does go down much slower than before, because the old one responded far too aggressively to big jumps. That was a problem for normal music, but indeed, in the beginning (and probably on any really big jump) you do want it to respond fast. And that's what SJP is for.

Bug in slider. I'm also waiting to be fixed. Can be tuned from sts tho.
It's interesting settings since it's not so fixed, it's relative. Might be good to be even more relative.

It would be really great for editioned/split stations to be able to turn off AF Frequencies (or fill/edit them) from MagicRDS.

I don't understand why there is any need for a UDP Protocol for UECP/MagicRDS. Can you tell Hans?
There are programs that use UECP via UDP, and so we needed to support that.

AF -> Do you mean AF method A or B? You're the first to request this (I know it's useful, but as long as nobody asks it makes no sense to spend time on it).
I think this is one of the functions that radiostations would definitely use. Turn off the AF functions on split/editioned advert breaks through external UECP Software (for eg. MagicRDS).
AF Method A (I guess that's the same that's being configured in the RDS Tab under FM Transmitter, right?)

The fact that nobody is reporting NAN's anymore, does that mean that they no longer occur? I added a lot of logging to gather data, but it could be that it occurred for example in the VST plugin due to the error that I fixed there. So, is anyone still seeing them?

Wow!! It was caused by the equalizer! Hm, that's really unexpected! On both channels, so I'm guessing there must have been an error in the calculation of the mask that's used (maybe parameteric eq?).

I'm going to look into this! Thanks!

Hans,
There was a post on Facebook a bit ago that mentioned noise/artifacts being caused by the Declipper. You said you were excited to look into that since you hadn't heard of any issues with Declipper in quite a while. Is that still on your roadmap for this release?

Foobar no longer crashes when changing settings in beta 052... ;) surround full open what a wonderful sound this version is able to create!
