Hi everyone,

A quick survey. I'd like your opinion on the best preset (and tweaks if necessary) for a mostly spoken word station. Music is eclectic but tends to the mellow side - Americana, Christian hymns and psalms, classical. Currently using Bob Hawkins' Loud and Clear with a few tweaks suggested by him, but open to other suggestions. Current version is 7.80 (including True Bass)

I'm currently using Bob Hawkins' Loud n Clear overall (with suggested modifications by Bob himself).

However, if you were going to switch presets specifically to help with spoken word, which preset would you use? I know ST doesn't have a de-esser as such, but what modifications would you make to "de-ess" a spoken word broadcast?

(Is there a place or a post where all the (current) presets are described, pithily?)

More specifically, since most of our format is spoken word, which presets increase the "density" of the audio output? This is for a low power FM (100w ERP) so fighting co channel "interference".
