Hi everybody :

I have realized that Stereo Tool since version 7.70 to version 7.73 does´t work anymore on Linux

It displays an error "Segmentation fault" when it loads ( the gui 64 bits stand alone version ).

Please help !!!

Thanks in advance and greetings.

:P Hi Everybody again !!

After trying different solutions for a while , I finally resolved my problem. My system is Ubuntu Studio 14.04 . I 've realized that the file stereo-tool.rc contained an invalid character ( probably after installed the new version of Stereo Tool over the old one ) . So I deleted the file ( 'cause ST reconstructs this file again when it loads for the first time ) and kill jackd and all other processes, open qjackctl again and start stereo-tool-gui-64 BETA 7.71 025 and it worked . Now I'm tired , but tomorrow I'll try delete this file again and install the 7.73 version -

Sorry for my first post , didn´t intend to bother anybody ; I think Hans is doing great work and I'm eternally grateful to him for this tool.

Bye and thanks again

Hm, an invalid character??? That's very strange. Have you by any chance made a copy of the file?
