- In last 2 betas i noticed much slower MB when i switch from digital to analog.
If i want to make them faster it works so strange.
- exception whenever freeze sliders are touched
- Freeze should be freeze. No speed no nothing its simple freeze with defined threshold.
- Freeze should be not per band. Just no need for that. It's enough to be at MB input, always ON with just one simple thresh slider.
I could not agree more on the MB freezing. Omnia always made it too complicated with per-band freezing. That can also lead to being stuck with an unnatural frequency balance.

Not agree for the Freeze slider to be only for input.

Per band is more flexible.

I get that error on freeze sliders too. But also i post a GUI mess in that panel. About monitor buttons.

1. Will check speed and exception
2. Not fully agree, it makes sense to slow down because it's hard to find an exact value. Anyway if you set both sliders to the same value it's what you describe.
3. Yes, current implementation can lead to very strange behavior. I'm not sure if the slow down should be available per band but freeze definitely not.

Any ETA on the standalone version of the latest beta being available?

Latest beta (33A), is it normal that selecting any built-in preset, raises exception and does not load settings to all sections (after MB)?

Woops! Found the cause, fixing it now.

I'm making the rounds back to Hansland at the moment. I just installed the latest beta.

I've been waiting a long time to be able to put real effort into Stereo Tool. Partly for it to progress technically to the point where I felt it was worth a serious effort. That happened around v7.4x-ish. And partly because some of you know that I'm becoming part of the Omnia family over the last 10 years. Not being able to help one of our progressively serious competitors is not a problem anymore because Hans has finally joined us!! :)

So... I'll let the deep-topic readers know here first... I *have* been working on a preset for Stereo Tool for the last two years. Much more seriously this year. It will be in the next full version of Stereo Tool, possibly with multiple versions depending on the amount of dynamics you want to have. 14dB is my personal favorite. Bojan tells me that it is very different from any other preset he has heard, and now seen, for Stereo Tool. :) Hans tells me that the action is very similar to what he wanted to do with the new "Multiband 2" (before he even started on the multiband version of that compressor), and I'll be checking out the new Multiband 2 over the next few days.

TLDR; I've heard some of you were recently asking if there will be a preset/s by me... Yep. 8-)
