This is not a streaming program . The streaming feature Hans added it as an extra .
This is a stereo encoder with audio manipulation functions , not stream server or something else.

Omnia is a special software for stream servers . ST is not like that

Stereo tool on Linux + DVBlast can stream practically in any format known so far. This goes also for the VLC version (for Windows).
And if this is not enough - you always got Edcast ;)

I'm using the latest Stereo Tool 7.60 DSP in Winamp and I've encountered an issue. When I reset the plugin to factory settings, activate the AGC (2 bands) and then turn down the "Remove above" setting to 0, it displays an exception message and it doesn't allow me to click the close button. Not a major issue but I thought I'd bring it to your attention. :)

I hate to buck the trend here, but after running version 7.60 for a while, I'm just not satisfied with the sound and am going back to version 7.51. I'm using the dsp version. I went back and forth between versions a couple of times, resetting all settings, then loading the preset. 7.60 just doesn't have the natural sounding presence of 7.51. It's like things are under a slight veil or haze with version 7.60. I know hearing is subjective, but these are my heartfelt impressions with the newer version. :ugeek:

Can you send me the preset with which you heard this? The biggest difference between the versions is in the clipper - the 7.51 clipper had several 'bumps' in the spectrum that are no longer there in 7.60. And since a clipper should be flat - not have bumps - 7.60 should be better (and to my ears it is). But, please send me the settings that you are using so I can listen for myself.

Well... In my case I had to revert my FM to 7.51 version too. Don't liked the sound. :(
Sounds to me without presence and no dynamics.

I'm running stock Bojcha's Unveil 50s preset in both versions... And... share same ini file (that's because it?)

Thanks

The Unveil preset isn't identical in both versions, did you load it again when you changed the version? If so you might be comparing presets, not ST versions...

Also, can you try what happens if you disable this "Smooth slope" setting which is new in 7.60? You need to be in Extreme Tweaker mode, and it's under Advanced Clipper -> Distortion.

Yes, load preset again in new version. Also disable "Power Highs". Have to try disable "Smooth slope".
