is there a way and get stereotool to change preset at certain times

There's also this old post regarding the sts file poll mechanism:

Per that, the file is read 4 times per second. The person that posted the thread was using a specific setup, so what was done may need to be modified for your setup.

As far as that goes though, if you only need a change at a certain time of day, on a Windows machine you could schedule an "At" job, or use schtasks. I'm sure there's some sort of Unix/Linux/Mac equivalent, possibly cron...?

Maybe an hour schedule, like what you have in the soundprocessing hardware boxes.

1: at 08:00 length 2 hours, preset1 monday
2: at 18:00 length 1 hour, preset 2 tuesday
3: 00:00 length 23:59, preset 3 for the rest of the hours and days.

Time and day: if not 1 goto 2, if not 2 goto 3.

Now I realize it's better to post it into the wishlist forum part.
