Well i dont see how it would be fixed.. except to convert b1 and maybe b2 clippers to some brickwall limiter, but it would be then good to also have lookahead.

@Bojcha: Remember that latency-512 sample I sent you a long time ago that didn't sound like 512? That was processed using the solution for this... But I had to do some things manually and I had to process the whole file twice.

Yea i know.. :)
But that uses more cpu if i remember correctly (?)

And btw.. more i look into this 1st band (r-type preset) i have feeling that b1 and b1 clipper is kinda not at same frequency!
On some bass sounds compressor reacts more but on other not but clipper yes.

Strange ....
If i low the latency about 1024 and 512... the issue is even rising . Both bands are affected (first and second) clipper is goin crazy ? May be at 8192 samples this will gone :P

Strange..
Here's test..
- load preset R-Type v19..
- play 50Hz sine tone and limiter on 1st band kick hard..
- play 55Hz Limiter on b1 do almost nothing (also swing gone)
- play 60Hz Limiter kicks again..
- play 65Hz limiter bar is going up down..
etc..

It works fine here now (and before I got silence as well). Can you tell me *exactly* what you are doing? And what you see (what happens to the buffer filling, and are the 2 numbers showing speedup etc. staying at x1.0000?)
I'm sorry for the delay.
The numbers are changing to M 0.9417 (+/-) and x 0.9997
Buffer filling seems normal, also the input & output lines, also the in/out green bars.
Everything looks the same with the buffer filling/other lines with/without that option. (with exception of the 2 numbers)

So everything seems to work..just no sound..

Ok, wait to test it again with the new one coming up.
I have built a debug version of the stand alone version and I'm getting several crashes. At very, very strange places. So something is definitely wrong, and this might explain multiple issues.
Woooh! I found it. This is a HUGE bug and I have NO idea what kinds of effects it has! If you're using BETA054, leave 'sound card synchronization' off for now!

Basically, what I was doing is: When resampling is used, I resample the input. From the resampling function I get a value back. Which I send to another function - by reference.

So far so good. But this other function puts the reference in an array, and then returns. And the array is filled from a different thread. (This behavior was introduced in BETA054, to keep the sound in normal output mode - before the reference was ignored.)

Meaning that the reference - which is no longer valid and probably in use by a completely different piece of code - gets overwritten!

So, weird peaks in the input, no sound, and who knows what else can all be caused by this.

It took me the whole day to find this one. :(

At Philips I once had an issue that took me almost 2 months to resolve :) So this isn't that bad yet.
