Some versions ago, after the new GUI came, you said that would be some GUI improvements, and a lot of people was working on something about it.

Don`t worry , i think that hans wil do it like old multiband and put the bands in a separate window , then it will be 10 bands ..
But i must say that option for adjust the number of bands is the most perfect option that user may choose . The processing quality is another question of discuss . I mean only for convenience now. Thanks for the option of choosing number of bands.Hope they will be 10 after my suggestion to separate them on window like old one.


P.S: Hans, do you explain to me in some words between what and what is this ratio option ? Just few words about it , if you not do this before . I`m not seeing it , sorry if you do this already.Also the Mix option . What do this option.
I`m still saying that only HOLD option must be more above 1000.. may be to 30000 or more because if you use small times (ms) for attack and release you have no enough holding strength. If your gating is off (-99) , but if you use gating and set Drive to the max you again need more holding strength .


Did i or Did i not feel that Drive and Output settings are not placed right in the whole MB processing ?

I'll try to get me to make a preset time, to test the new MB, before my holidays next week.

Some details:

I believe the envelope detector type is not required to be individually selected for each band. Could be selected so that all the bands work the same way as the feedback.
I see no utility that can be changed by band, I see that could cause some kind of distortion.

On the other hand, is not identifiable in the GUI, which detector is selected.

Ok, there is a bug in Smart Peak, also in the singleband version - I'm looking into it now.

I just put in a lot of options now, and several may be removed later. Or I'll split the screen into 2 screens.

In the VST VErsion i cannot hear anythin with the new Multiband Compressor. If i enable all switches nothing happens here. I am hearing only silence. Thats really strange...

- Something strange with "Output" slider in new compressor. +20dB are more like +2dB - when used with AGC.
- moving some sliders with "hold move" does not bring back cursor to slider place
- The meter of the new singleband is not showing at the overview meters at the bottom. And if you click the meter it shows you the old singleband.
- And I just found out that there's a bug in "Smart Peak" mode - the peak level of the output exceeds the selected level occasionally. With traditional 'Simple Peak' mode this does not happen.
- is channel separation fixed, so it can be used in peek mode at 0 ?
- Yes, new compressor not showed in bottom "SB" bar, but also should be forbidden to use both old and new compressor in same time (if old stays)
- Smart peek LEFT channel is bad
- I don't know if the buffer isue is solved when switching in recent preset files? Haven't test it since I mentioned it - Not urgent, later...
- Possible to add same new copmpressor after AGC? (compressor1 and compressor2) - Later


Note: Volume measurement in both the singleband compressor and the multiband compressor contains a BIG error. At some points in time it looks at old data. That's why sweeps sounded weird. Is fixed now, fix will be available in the next beta.
