Building updated beta now... Will also check your settings later. New beta should be here in about an hour, I added a slider with which you can control how strong the bass kicks can get through (100% = fully, 0% = same as setting delay to 0, in between is partial effect, which means that both the "always clip below" and "dynamic bass clipping" are still partially active.)

It might be better to only follow the dynamic level, will think about that.. For now this change should be usable.

It is, works nice!

Updated my Loud-D-Mod. Done some fine ajustments to the AGC (reacts too slow when sudden level changes are happening), the Declipper (more optimized for analog feeds), a little lesse Clipper Drive and therefore a little bit more bass... Think I'm very close to 100 % ;)

Great! I have now changed it such that by default it uses the peak level that you configured, but if the bass level is dropped dynamically you can determine how strongly it follows that drop. Will be available in the next beta.

Which one sounds better? Hard to say... On BBP, it's more the natural bass, on ST, it's more the natural mids and highs, I think...

Great! A little less sparkles on the highs for a more natural sound, with a little more overall density. Post your sts-file if you like, so I can see how you achieved that.

I've listened to some Stockfish records the whole evening with my modded Loud-D preset (lowered the Clipper Drive for about 4 dB for this). Seems that Stereotool is the absolut right processor for such a dedicated kind of music. BBP falls apart in this case, only the Zenith-Preset offers a similar naturalness...

To me the voice sounds more natural in ST, I would need to hear the original bass to be sure about the bass, I hear some strange things in BBP that I don't hear in ST in very low bass sounds around 0:25 - BBP sounds harsher/metallic. BBP sounds fuller than your version - but I think Bojcha's version is roughly the same; also I hope the new MB will improve this.

Actually i was just set MB to be more processed, so less open. Big thing, even more agressive highs protection from bass (to remove distortions on very loud highs like loud "S" sounds) (40%!) + more highs detection for protection. Bass clip peek level lower at about BBP level. Then some compesation with bass boost (that need bit better settings).

Thanks, made me to try something, and it worked ;)

The bass boost on ST works very well. I put it on FM and listened with a small kitchen radio while recording, and thought "from where the hack is that bass coming?" :D And the Azimuth-Correction does a good job on the analog parts of the sample...

I think I'm done, will put ST on the air on the next pirate event ;)
