I quite don't get this statement from the help section:

"This setting is only available for convenience. Disabling it gives the same result as enabling it and multiplying the soft limit (maximum output level) levels by the equalizer levels".

¿How is it the same before or after MB? For example, a boost of 3 db before multiband is equal to what after multiband?

Also, why multiband meters react to eq changes made after MB? It seems to me that if it is after MB, they shouldn't change at all.

Thanks

yes.. meters react if eq is after MB.. and it should not!
I give up long time ago on current MB when that and similar things comes into question. So waiting new MB. Soon!

Also ofc it is not same when EQ is before and after MB. You want always to put it before MB! IT should even be before AGC!
EQ After MB, for example lower bands, are harder to control. MB is place where 'sound' is created.

It's similar like you want to place EQ after clipper. ;)

But that also makes another question. What about Bass Boost, It's always after MB! Well.. lately, I am trying to not use it.

But don't be so enthusiastic about "You want always to put it before MB!", since Neodymium uses eq after MB. In fact, I've been using it a lot 8-) and, yes, low frequencies are a a bit inconsistent between tracks. So, for example, would there be an equivalente setting in that preset for eq before MB? Here is where I don't get that help section explanation about after/before MP being there only for convinience, like not to really make any difference :?
